Three men injured in alleged stabbing on Queensferry Street

A man has been arrested following an alleged stabbing in which three men were injured in the early hours of today.

Emergency services raced to Queensferry Street shortly before 4am following the incident.

The area remains sealed off and this morning forensic officers were seen combing the area.

Cordons remain in place and traffic is being diverted.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said “About 3.45am on Sunday July 1 officers attended a disturbance call in Queensferry Street.

“Where it was reported a number of people had been assaulted.

 

“As a result three men were treated at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service prior to be taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

“The full extent of their injuries are not know at this time, however, it is believed at least one of them has serious injuries.

“A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident.

“Inquires are still ongoing and cordons are still in place.

“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101.”
