Police in Edinburgh can confirm that the multi agency response to the incident in Clermiston Road has concluded. 

Emergency services have established this was a minor chlorine leak from the swimming pool and while this area remains temporarily out of use to the public, the hotel guests and staff have been allowed back inside. 

Three people were assessed by ambulance staff at the scene and required no additional assistance. A further six people were taken to hospital as a precaution. 

The police, fire and ambulance staff in attendance have now stood down and the general public are thanked for their patience and cooperation while we responded to this incident.
