Police in West Lothian are appealing for information in order to trace a 15-year-old boy who is missing from the Livingston area.

Lewis Lindsay was last seen around 8.45am within Inveralmond Community High School, Livingston.  He has not been seen since and officers are becoming very concerned for his welfare.

Lewis is described as a mixed race teenager with a muscular build.  He has curly black hair and a tanned complexion.

He was last seen wearing black trousers, a white shirt with a black sweatshirt and a blue and white Inveralmond Community High School tie.

Inspector Richard Banks of Livingston Police Station said:  “Lewis has now been missing for some time and we are very concerned for his welfare.

“We are eager to trace him as soon as possible and I would urge anyone who has seen Lewis today, or recognises his description, to contact us immediately.

“Likewise I would ask Lewis, if he does see this message, to get in touch with either police or his family to let us know he’s okay.”

Those with information regarding Lewis’ whereabouts are asked to contact officers at Livingston Police Station on 101, quoting incident number 1375 of January 9.
