Volunteers at RNLI South Queensferry tonight were paged to rescue a yacht

Launched to a yacht which had ran aground on rocks at Dalgety Bay. As the lifeboat arrived the yacht had floated free and was making way towards Port Edgar.
Three persons were taken off the yacht by lifeboat and landed ashore due to being very cold.
The lifeboat then returned to the yacht and shadowed it in to Port Edgar where South Queensferry Coastguard were on hand to assist with berthing.
