Police Scotland have confirmed a man’s body has been found in their search for Shaun Watson who was reported missing from Broxburn.

The body was recovered from the water at Lamberton Shiels, near Berwick Upon Tweed.

Shaun was reported missing on August 3.

The news was confirmed earlier today by officers who were searching for him. His family have been informed.

Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
