Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses following numerous break-ins and attempted break-ins to sheds in Livingston.

Approximately 21 units at an allotment in Simpson Parkway were targeted overnight between Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st July.

Inquiries are ongoing to establish what items have been stolen and to identify those responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Sergeant Kris Linejs from Livingston Police Station said: “We are still trying to speak with all shed owners at the allotment to determine if any more have been subject to a break-in or attempted break-in and I would ask any further victims to contact us.

“As part of our ongoing inquiries I would ask anyone who saw any suspicious activity around Simpson Parkway between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning should also get in touch.”
