A man has been rushed to hospital with back injuries after falling into Musselburgh Harbour.

The 39-year-old is understood to have fallen around ten feet and landed onto a boat before slipping into the water.

The incident happend at around 2.00pm this afternoon.

The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they took the man to hospital.

A spokesperson said “We attended and have conveyed a man to hospital for further treatment.”
