Car fire closes Longniddry Bents car park

Police have closed off a car park at Longniddry Bents following a car fire earlier today.

Emergency services were alerted to the blaze just after 3pm today.

The local council has warned people that the area will be closed tomorrow also.

A spokesperson for the SFRS said: “We are currently in attendance alongside emergency service partners at an incident at Longniddry Bents, East Lothian.

“Operations control mobilised one fire appliance to the area after the alarm was raised at 3.04pm.”
