Tarvit Street in the City Centre has been closed by police officers following an incident earlier this morning.
Police are standing guard and two tents have been erected in the road.

One local, who asked not to be named, said “We have no idea what’s going on.
“The police officers aren’t telling us anything other than there is nothing to worry about.
“It looks quite serious whatever it is.”
Police Scotland confirmed they were in attendance following a serious assault and will release more details this morning.
