Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of another man in Gracemount.

The incident happened around 8pm near a supermarket at Gracemount Drive on Thursday, 11 November, 2021.     

A 32-year-old man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in the incident.     

A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow     

A 21-year-old has previously been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday. 

Detective Inspector Bob Campbell said: “Violent crime will not be tolerated in Edinburgh and I would like to pass on our thanks to everybody who has helped with our investigation into this incident.”
