Three arrested and charged following a series of thefts and vandalisms in Roslin

Police in Midlothian can confirm that two women, aged 16 and 39, and a 17-year-old man have been arrested and charged following a series of thefts and vandalisms in the Roslin area.

The incidents happened on the night of Saturday, February 18, across the area, including at a local café and a local primary school.  The 39-year-old has also been arrested on road traffic charges.

All three appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, February 20.  Additionally, a 15-year-old has been reported to the Childrens Reporter.

Inspector Neil Mitchell of Dalkeith Police Station said:  “Antisocial behaviour in our local community is completely unacceptable and we are committed to hold those who partake in this activity to account.
