Red Arrows to fly over Edinburgh tomorrow as part of Royal ceremony

The famous Red Arrows will flypast Edinburgh tomorrow to mark the first visit to the city by King Charles III.

The fighter jets will fly over the city at 3.40pm are expected to fly over the Castle and down over Holyrood Palace.

King Charles III is in Edinburgh for the first Royal Week since he became King.

Tomorrow the King will be given the Honours of Scotland at a special ceremony at St Giles’ Cathedral.

There will also be a Royal Procession and a 21-gun salute.

A People’s Procession of around 100 people representing aspects of Scottish life including charities and public services, will walk from Edinburgh Castle to St Giles. 

They will be escorted by The Royal Regiment of Scotland, their Shetland Pony mascot Corporal Cruachan IV and supported by cadet musicians from the Combined Cadet Force Pipes and Drums, 51 Brigade Cadet Military Band.
