Police in East Lothian are appealing for assistance in tracing Katharine Spooner also known as Kennedy, 48, who has been reported missing from Whittinghame Estate, East Linton.

Katharine was last seen around 2pm today in Whittinghame Estate, East Linton when she left home to go for a walk. Her current whereabouts are unknown and her family is becoming increasingly concerned for her.

Katharine is described as being 6feet tall, slim build, long black hair tied in a bun at the back, wearing a dark coat with a dark fur collar, she was also wearing an orange beanie hat and carrying a dark rucksack.

Inspector Miller from Haddington Police Station says “Katharine has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character for him and her family is understandably worried about her. We have a number of police resources out looking for Katharine in the local area.”
