Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing from the Stenhouse area.

Colin Nicol was last seen around 1.30pm on Stenhouse Street West.

Since then, the 32-year-old hasn’t been in contact with his friends or family.

He was last seen wearing a blue zipped jacket with green stripes down the sleeves. Underneath the jacket he was wearing a green t-shirt with G STAR in white writing.

He was also wearing dark jeans and blue trainers with a green Nike tick.

Inspector Jonny Elliott, of Drylaw Police Station, said: “Colin knows the Stenhouse and Gyle areas well, and he may travel to the West Linton area.

“His family are concerned for him, so I’d urge anyone who has seen Colin or has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact us.”
