North Bridge has been closed due to an ongoing police incident.

The road was closed in both directions just before 9am.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “Police in Edinburgh were called to North Bridge around 8.45am on Thursday 6 October following a report of concern for a man.

“Closures are currently in place while emergency services attend the scene and the public are thanked for their patience.”
