Detectives are carrying out an investigation after a man was assaulted on Henderson Gardens earlier this evening.

Emegecy services raced to the scene just before 8pm.

The area remains sealed off by officers following the attack and forensic officers and detectives are currently in attendnace.  

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “At around 8pm officers attended to a report of a person having been assaulted in Henderson Gardens.

“On arrival officers located an injured 35-year-old man who was treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“Officers remain in attendance and inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
