Car stolen in Midlothian housebreaking

Police in Midlothian are appealing for information after a car was stolen during a housebreaking in Lothianburn.

The red Mazda MX5, registration G5LUV was taken in the break-in to a house on Pentland Road between 1.30pm and 5.45pm on Sunday 6th November.

After forcing entry to the property jewellery was also stolen.

PC Andrew Palin from the Community Investigation Unit said: “I’m keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time of the housebreaking, or anyone who may have any information on where the car is now.”
