A man has been arrested and charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act after police in West Lothian recovered a large quantity of Class A drugs in Blackburn.
Officers executed a search warrant at an address in Riddochill Road on Tuesday 27th September where they seized 1.5kg of amphetamine and over half a kilo of heroin.
The total value of the drugs is around £62,500.
The 47-year-old is scheduled to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday 28th September.
Chief Inspector Stevie Dolan, Local Area Commander form West Lothian said: “Once again, the law abiding members of our communities have made it abundantly clear that they will not tolerate drug crime in their area and have provided us with vital intelligence, which resulted in this sizeable drugs recovery.
“Tackling drug offences is a policing priority here in West Lothian and whenever information from the public is received it is investigated and acted upon accordingly.
