Police are currently involved in a standoff at a flat in the Abbeyhill area.
Officers were called to the flat on Waverly Park at 2.45pm this afternoon.

Waverly Park has been closed and several police officers and an ambulance team are in attendance.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said “Police Scotland requested an emergency ambulance response to an incident at an address in Edinburgh’s Abbeyhill at 16.50 hours today.
“A number of resources were dispatched to the address including our special operation response team and an Incident Officer
“The incident is still on-going at this time”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said “Police in Edinburgh are in attendance at Waverly Park following a report for concern for a person within a property.
“The call was received at 2.45pm and officers remain at the scene whilst they try and speak to the occupant.”
