Musselburgh High Street has been closed following a collision involving serval cars.

It’s understood that the one car collided with up to six parked cars before grinding to a halt just after 8pm this evening.

The road is closed and Police are on the scene.

John McGill whose taxi was smashed posted a video to Facebook.

No one is thought to have been seriously injured.

Robin Wallace said: “Heard two massive bangs, then a long blast of the horn. Some amount of carnage.”

Petrina Bennet said: “Got a fright..there was a huge bang..like a bomb going off. Poor John’s taxi”

Police confirmed they were at the scene and the incident was ongoing.
