Two men have been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Saughton Mains Park last night.
Emergency services raced to the scene just after 8.30pm.
One male was described as being serious but stable.
One local told how the area was sealed off and police officers are currently standing guard.
He said “The area is very busy with police officers and they have a large cordon in place.
“The police won’t say what’s going on.
“They are just telling us there has been an incident.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said “We attended the incident and sent two ambulances and and a paramedic response unit.
“We transported one male to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in a serious but stable condition.”
Police Scotland confirmed they are in attendance and an investigation was underway.
