A sinkhole has opened up near Haymarket.
It’s unclear how deep the sinkhole is but barriers have been erected around it.

Edinburgh Travel tweeteed the a picture earlier today.
One passerby said “It quite small but the road near it is all bevelled so who knows how safe it is.
“I hope they get it fixed soon and quicly as it could casue travel chaos over the next few days.”
