Police are investigating after a man and woman were attacked on a bus in Clermiston on Sunday night.

The incident took place just after 9.30pm on the LRT 21 bus on Drum Brae Drive.

The couple sustained minor injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Edinburgh are investigating after a group of youths caused a disturbance on board a Number 21 LRT bus in Drum Brae Drive at around 9.40pm on Sunday 15th April.

“During this incident a 20-year-old man and 19-year-old woman sustained minor injuries after being assaulted by the suspects.

“Inquiries to identify those responsible are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to come forward.”
