Officers in Midlothian are appealing for assistance from the public to trace missing man Ian Philips.

The 77-year-old, who has Dementia, was last seen in the Pryde Avenue area of Bonnyrigg around 3.15pm this afternoon.

Ian was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, navy trousers and brown leather shoes. He has one finger missing from his left hand, and may present as confused and lost.

His family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
