Police Scotland have confirmed that they have completed their investigation into an alleged serious sexual assault on Friday night and have concluded with no criminality established.
Officers launched an investigation on Friday night after receiving reports of an incident at Dalmeny Street Park.
Forensic officers spent Saturday morning examining the area as officers stood guard.
A force spokesperson said “Following the report of a serious sexual assault in the Dalmeny Park area on Saturday, 18 January, detectives have carried out a thorough investigation and inquiries have concluded, with no criminality established.
“No further police action is required.
“Officers would like to thank the public for their cooperation to allow investigations to take place.”
