A man has been arrested after allegedly being in possession of a knife on Corstorphine Hill earlier this morning.
Police officers raced to the popular beauty spot just before 11am today and a police dog was used to find the man.


He was arrested and is due to appear in court on Monday.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man in possession of a knife in the Corstorphine Hill area of Edinburgh around 10.50am on Saturday, 6 June, 2020.
“Officers attended and traced the 45-year-old man. Nobody was injured. He was arrested and charged and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 8 June, 2020.”
