Police have launched an investigation after a schoolgirl was approached by two men near Telford Road earlier today.
The sixteen-year-old girl was on her way to school when she was approached by the men who were said to be in a van.
It’s claimed the men shouted at her to get into the van.
The girl made her way to school and the police were informed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police in Edinburgh are investigating after a report was received of two suspicious men approaching a 16-year-old girl.
“The incident happened in the Telford Road area on Tuesday 30 January.
“Inquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing.”
