Police are investigating after a man ‘s body was discovered earlier today inside a toilet cubicle at Morrisons at Granton.
A staff member made the discovery and police were called at around 12pm today.
The store remained open and some barriers were placed over the entrance to the toilets.
Officers are now investigating how long the man was in the toilet for and it’s understood he may have lay there since Sunday night.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “The body was discovered around 12pm on Monday, January 7.
“The death is being treated as unexplained, however, the circumstances are not believed to be suspicious.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
A Morrisons spokeswoman said: “Sadly, a man was found dead at one of our stores in Granton, Edinburgh. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.”
