Police are probing the “unexplained” death of a man who was found dead in a flat in Leith last night.
Officers responded to the property in Bathfield just after 8pm.
Forensic officers have spent the day carrying out their investigation and officers are standing guarding the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “Around 8.20pm on Monday, 11 May, 2020, police received a report a man had died within a property in Bathfield, Leith.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the death.”
