An investigation is underway after what is believed to be human bones were discovered in Edinburgh yesterday.
The discovery was made at around 2.50pm yesterday near Pollock Halls at Dalkeith Road.
The area has been cordoned off and forensic officers have been carrying out an investigation at the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “At around 2.50pm on Wednesday 26th September, police in Edinburgh received a report of bones being found within the grounds of Pollock Halls.
“Officers attended and the items will undergo further examination. Inquiries are ongoing.”
