Two Typhoon jets roared over Edinburgh this morning to mark VE Day.

The jets from Raf Lossiemouth flew over the castle then out over the Forth Bridge’s just after 10am to commemorate the official surrender of Nazi Germany to the Allied forces on May 8 1945.

This years celebrations have been adjusted after office celebration plans had to be called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
