CapitalSci-FiCon 2017 at Edinburgh’s Meadowbank in aid of CHAS Rachel House

Step inside the magic world of movies and TV this February as your favourite films come to life right here in Edinburgh! Escape into a different realm where you can duel with wizards, escape Jabbas palace, step inside the Tardis to avoid the Daleks, test your strength on the mighty Thor’s hammer and ride a full size speeder bike.

CapitalSci-FiCon 2017 is the ONLY non for profit sci-fi event at Meadowbank Stadium on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February 2017. Suitable for all the family, Capital Sci-Fi Convention will showcase original film and TV memorabilia from world class movies and shows; live special effects presentations; retro gaming consoles; craft experts to show you how to create your favourite characters costumes and film props from the small and big screen; AND the hotly anticipated cosplay competition for age group 12 and unders and 13 and overs.

The event boasts a guest list of industry names such as comic book illustrators and writers and movie voice-overs and actors who will be sitting in on panel talks and available for autographs over the weekend. Just some of the big names in attendance include, Hannah Spearitt, Gary Erskine, Pam Rose (Star Wars) and Jon Campling (Harry Potter).
