A man has died following an incident in Gibson terrace last night.
Emergency services responded to a call just after 8pm after the man sustained a serious injury.
Paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service attended but the man was prounoucded dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “Police in Edinburgh are investigating following the death of a man in the west of the city.
“Officers were call to an address on Gibson Terrace at around 8:15pm on Sunday 12th March regarding a male with a serious injury.
“The Scottish Ambulance Service also attended to treat the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as suspicious.”
