Police are investigating after the bodies of two men were discovered in a flat in north Edinburgh last night.

The alarm was raised at around 6.30pm following the discovery in Oxcars Court.

Forensic officers are currently at the scene carrying out an investigation.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police in Edinburgh were called to a flat in Oxcars Court at around 6.30pm on Friday 16th June following the deaths of two men aged 48 and 54.

“The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries and report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
