Police in Edinburgh can confirm that as part of the investigation to trace Anthony Cramb, his body has been recovered from the water at Anstruther beach in Fife today.

Anthony had been missing since Tuesday 30th August and various lines of inquiry were progressed over the past week to locate the 31-year-old.

Formal identification has now taken place and officers are continuing to support his family at this time.

There appears to be no suspicious circumstances.
