Over seventy taxis took part in the annual Edinburgh Taxi outing to Archerfield this morning.
The convoy set off from the Zoo around 10am and is due to arrive in East Lothian around midday.
Lord Provost Frank Ross was on hand to try and pick a best-dressed taxi and driver.
He said “There has been lots of hype about this year’s festival, but it’s important to remember this outing has been going on for over seventy years.
“The taxi drivers have done a great job, as always, in pulling this together and the taxis look great.
“It is great to see all the kids coming along smiling and enjoying their day out.”
The convoy set off through town and down the Royal Mile before heading down to Archerfield.
We hope all the kids have a great day out.
