An accident had led to the closure of the M90 northbound at Junction 1.

Live Edinburgh News understand a large lorry has overturned and at least one person had been injured.

A specialist team of medical staff from the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary are also in attendance.

A spokesman for Scottish Ambulance service said “Shortly after 11.30pm we received a 999 call reporting a road traffic collision

“A Paramedic Response Unit, Local ambulance crew and Medic One from Edinburgh Royal Infirmary are all in attendance”

It’s unknown how long the road will be closed for.
